Human Resource Manager (Singapore)

Job Description

Our firm seeks a highly motivated and experienced Human Resource Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The Human Resource Manager will also work closely with the senior management team to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the firm's business goals.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Manage the recruitment process from job posting to onboarding, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and orientation.
  • Manage and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Collate and report data that identifies training and development needs
  • Organise and maintain an HR database
  • Collaborate with the senior management team and key stakeholders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the firm's business goals.

Other Responsibilities

  • Analyse HR metrics and data to identify trends and propose strategies and solutions to improve HR processes and practices.
  • Conduct feedback systems to collate data for improving recruitment and performance management systems.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary action.

Skills and Knowledge Required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in the financial services (Asset management) industry
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of the organisation
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Experience with HR information systems and technology
  • Professional certification in HR, such as SHRM or HRCI, is a plus
